(Doctor of Nursing Practice, Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner)
Dr. Alban earned her BSN from Johns Hopkins University, her MSN from the University of Maryland, and her DNP from Carlow University. She began her career at Johns Hopkins providing hospital care before moving into community clinic-based mental health, where she continues to devote her work.
Through years of caring for individuals across the full spectrum of illness, from hospital bedside to external clinics, she has come to value the importance of treating the whole person. She has supported people and their families during times of acute crisis, guided them through hospitalization, and helped them regain stability and growth in their everyday lives.
Having trained and practiced extensively in all healthcare style settings, Dr. Alban understands that mental health is too complex to be addressed by the traditional medical model alone. She considers not only medical history, but also family relationships, lifestyle, and the broader circumstances shaping each client's well-being.
Her approach blends careful evaluation with thoughtful and thorough medication management, always grounded in compassion and respect. Dr. Alban has worked with people of all ages. One of Dr. Albans deepest commitments has been to children and teens, and those continue to be a central part of her family practice.

(Master of Science, Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner)
Colleen brings over 25 years of experience to her work, with a career that has spanned diverse health care settings and a strong focus on supporting women and families throughout the many stages of life. She has a particular passion for helping children and adults living with ADHD and autism. Her approach emphasizes behavioral strategies while thoughtfully integrating medication when appropriate. She is especially committed to addressing the complexities of adult ADHD in women, a condition often misdiagnosed as anxiety, and provides careful assessment and tailored treatment plans to ensure the right course of care.
In addition to her work with ADHD and autism, Colleen has deep expertise in women’s health. Her primary areas of focus include hormonal concerns such as menopause, thyroid conditions, and the mental health challenges that often accompany these physical changes. She is a certified Perinatal Grief Support Specialist and has supported many clients through the postpartum period. Colleen also has a special interest in sub-clinical hypothyroidism, informed by several years of experience working alongside a specialist in thyroid care, and she supports the use of Menopausal Hormone Therapy (MHT) when clinically appropriate.
Colleen understands that healing and support need to fit into real life, not the other way around. To make care more accessible, she offers appointments during non-traditional times, including evenings and weekends, so those she works with can receive care when it fits best into their lives.
